Department Overview

The mission of the Community Image Department is two-fold. As the code enforcement arm of the city, we are here to ensure that the overall appearance and condition of our neighborhoods and businesses remain desirable and safe. But moving beyond traditional perceptions of our responsibilities, we are also committed to bringing the highest level of customer service to the residents of The Colony and to provide opportunities for partnerships with the community via our Volunteer Assistance Program in order to further our shared goals.

The Community Image Department believes in service to the city’s residents alongside implementing the property maintenance guidelines set forth by the local code of ordinances and the zoning code of the City of The Colony. We are here for you, and we look forward to addressing any concerns you may have regarding the upkeep and beautification of your city — the City by the Lake.
