Participation
The Colony Parks and Recreation Department requires that all parade entries incorporate this year’s theme of "Celebrate Texas!" Parade lineup will be held at Peter’s Colony Elementary School on John Yates. All entries should check in with the parade coordinator.
Awards
The awards presentation for the parade will take place immediately following the parade in The Colony High School Parking Lot. Entries that show exceptional patriotic spirit and support the parade theme will be awarded trophies and prizes.
Commercial Category:
1st Place - Trophy & $75 Cash
2nd Place - Trophy & $25 Cash
3rd Place - Trophy
Non-Commercial Category:
1st Place - Trophy & $75 Cash
2nd Place - Trophy & $25 Cash
3rd Place - Trophy
Best of Show:
Trophy & $100 Cash
Entry forms can be submitted to the Parks and Recreation Department. Day-of registration will be accepted at parade check-in. Pre-registration is highly encouraged.
Route
The parade route will start at Peters Colony Elementary School and head West along Nash Dr. Then the parade will turn South on Blair Oaks. It will finish at The Colony High School teachers parking lot.
