City staff recognized for rapid response to winter storm

WaterProdWebsite

At its regular meeting on April 6, The Colony City Council recognized all of the city employees who worked through the winter storm event in February to keep the community safe and ensure vital services continued uninterrupted.

Many sacrificed time with their own families, which were also enduring hardships from the storm.

We invite you to read the Mayoral Proclamation, which chronicles the rapid response from Public Safety, Public Works, Animal Services, the Parks Department, and Wastewater staff, among others.

Check out following video to learn more about the specific efforts of the Water Production team, which kept water flowing to our residents during the crisis.
