Due to heavy rains in recent weeks, high water levels on Lewisville Lake have warranted closures of a few features at Stewart Creek Park, namely the courtesy dock, fishing pier, swim beach, and The Colony Shoreline Trail.

UPDATE June 15: In the coming weeks, we anticipate that water levels on Lewisville Lake will begin to recede. As the water levels go down there will be a tremendous amount of cleanup needed at our lake parks and trails along the lake. Soon, we will be putting out a call for volunteers to help with the cleanup, in an attempt to get these areas usable as quickly as possible. Though it is too early to pinpoint any cleanup dates just yet, we are beginning to gather contact info for volunteers who would like to assist in the cleanup process.
