[ARCHIVED] #UPDATE: Lane closures continue on westbound North Colony at Keys

Public Works crews have been working around the clock since last night to repair a water main break near the intersection of North Colony and Keys. Motorists remain advised that the westbound lanes of North Colony are closed in that area.

A detour is in place but motorists should expect delays and seek alternate routes if possible.

Some homes in the area have been without service or are experiencing low service due to the water main break. Crews are working as diligently as possible, and we estimate the repairs to be completed sometime tonight (Thursday, May 5). The repairs have been more challenging due to the steady influx of stormwater runoff today as well as water from the main break itself impacting the work area, which is located between 15-20 feet under the street. Additional equipment is on the scene and crews will continue the repair work as long as it takes.

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding.
