At approximately 2:02 pm on Monday, Oct. 17, 2022, Officers with The Colony Police Department responded to a report of a male subject who was outside of the Police Department with a gunshot wound to the head.
Officers do not believe that the shooting occurred in the parking lot. This is an active police investigation and there is currently no more information available. There is no threat to the surrounding area and no danger to the community. We are asking that anyone picking up from Griffin Middle School avoid the parking lot off of North Colony Boulevard between the recreation center and Griffin Middle School.
