Some current roadwork projects include work underway on Squires Drives, as well as ongoing repairs to Main Street (FM 423) by the Texas Department of Transportation. All work is weather-permitting.
Concrete reconstruction of Squires Drive with new paving, sidewalks, and 8-inch waterline, is underway. New street lights will be installed as needed. The project also includes work to extend an 8-inch waterline on nearby Vaden Street.
- Traffic on Squires will be one-way eastbound, with the open lane shifting as the project progresses.
This Capital Improvement Project has a construction cost of $2.3 million and began in July 2023 with an estimated completion in Spring 2024.
