[ARCHIVED] Major accident at Memorial, Main Street

At approximately 1:32 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, The Colony Police Officers responded to reports of a child pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle in the intersection of Main Street and Memorial Drive.

Emergency medics from The Colony Fire Department responded to the accident along with The Colony Police Department Accident Investigators, who are currently investigating the collision.

The intersection is currently shutdown and motorists are encouraged to take an alternate route.

The child pedestrian was identified as a 14-year-old teenager. The teenager sustained serious injuries and was transported by medics to Texas Health Presbyterian.

The investigation is ongoing.
