[ARCHIVED] KTCB hosts Clean-Up Event, food drive

KTCB volunteers cleaning parkland

Keep The Colony Beautiful is hosting a clean-up event from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, at The Colony Five Star Complex and Turner Soccer Fields. Volunteers are welcome!

Also that same day, KTCB members (in partnership with Lovepacs) will be at City Hall, 6800 Main St., collecting items for a food drive. There is already a drop-off box inside the City Hall lobby for food donations, now through Nov. 17.

Requested food items include:

  • applesauce pouches (ex. Go-Go Squeeze);
  • boxes of Macaroni & Cheese (or individual cups);
  • cans of Chef-Boyardee type pasta;
  • granola bars;
  • microwave popcorn;
  • Ramen noodles;
  • and cereal
