It is with a heavy heart that The Colony Police Department must share the unfortunate news of Sergeant David Fitzpatrick’s passing away.
Sgt. Fitzpatrick worked for The Colony Police Department for 28 years and was our most senior police officer. He will be sorely missed by his family, fellow officers, and the countless citizens of The Colony he has served since 1991. We are working with the family to determine funeral arrangements and will announce those plans once they are finalized.
Sgt. Fitzpatrick suffered a serious medical episode at work Friday, June 7, 2019, and was on life support until today. Any notes or cards for the family can be dropped off at our Police Records window Monday- Friday 8 AM-5 – 5 PM (5151 North Colony Boulevard).
