[ARCHIVED] History Committee hosts Twilight at Bridges Cemetery

Bridges Cemetery

The Colony Public Library Local History Committee will host a twilight event at Bridges Cemetery from 5 p.m. to sunset Saturday, Oct. 26, weather permitting. Don’t miss the opportunity to explore Bridges Cemetery at sunset!

Members of The Colony Public Library’s Local History Committee will be on hand to talk about the cemetery’s history and discuss its preservation and restoration plans, as well as answer questions about the history of The Colony. This event is free to the public and will include light refreshments. Copies of the committee’s book, Bridges to the Future, will be available for sale for $10. Don’t forget to bring your flashlight!

Bridges Cemetery is located at the corner of Morning Star and Chesapeake drives in The Colony. For more information, visit www.TheColonyPL.org or email Technical Services Librarian Noelle Roseberry.
