[ARCHIVED] Stanford crowned 2020 VOA Classic champ

Texas native and TCU alum Angela Stanford shot a final round 67 on Sunday, en route to finishing 7-under for the tournament to be crowned 2020 Volunteers of America Classic champion.

The final round on Sunday, Dec. 6, capped off a fantastic week of golf at the Golf Clubs at The Tribute in The Colony. Check out all the coverage on LPGA.com and on the VOA Classic website.

Due to concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's tournament was held without fans in attendance. Instead, everyone followed the results on the Golf Channel.

The 2020 Volunteers of America Classic set up golf fans for two weeks of women’s golf in Texas with the US Women’s Open taking place in Houston directly following the VOA Classic.
