[ARCHIVED] Practice the 9PM Routine

IMG_0218

Leaving anything of value in your vehicle is not a good practice. Leaving your vehicle unlocked, even if nothing of value is inside, is also highly discouraged.

Officers have taken vehicle-theft reports where weapons, cash, phones, computers, prescription medication, sun glasses, tools, and many other things are taken.

Take that extra step and keep your valuables safe!

Prevent theft from your home or vehicle

  • Remove valuables (electronic devices, wallets, money, etc.) from your vehicle.

  • Ensure that vehicle doors are locked.

  • Check that all exterior house doors and garage doors are closed and locked.

  • Turn on exterior lights.

  • Share your 9PM Routine by posting on social media using the hashtag, #9PMROUTINE.

Thank you and remember to stay Safe....."If you see something, say something."
