The North Texas Tollway Authority has announced that all lanes of the eastbound Sam Rayburn Tollway will be closed at the Main Street/Josey Lane toll gantry overnight, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., Oct. 18-19.
The eastbound entrance ramp at Standridge/Castle Hills drives will also be closed during that time. Eastbound SRT motorists will detour by taking the Standridge/Castle Hills exit and continue east on SH 121 (the SRT frontage road) through the Main Street/Josey Lane signal to re-enter eastbound SRT.
This work is part of the SRT Fourth Lane Project, which includes adding a fourth lane in each direction from US 75 to south of Denton Tap Road. All closures are subject to weather conditions and will be postponed, if necessary. Motorists are urged to use caution in the construction area. For questions, contact the project hotline at 972-628-3134. For more information about upcoming lane closures along NTTA roads, go to the “Scheduled Lane Closures” link at www.ntta.org.
