[ARCHIVED] Holiday season in The Colony

Christmas lights

The holidays in The Colony are underway with the start of The Colony Christmas Spectacular Light Show! The show continues nightly at Central Fire Station through Jan. 4, 2021.

The Christmas Spectacular Light Show runs 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. Sunday-Thursday; 5:30 to 10:50 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, starting Dec. 5, at Central Fire Station (4900 Blair Oaks). Tune your radio to 99.9FM to enjoy the choreographed music. In light of the pandemic, please be advised there will be no bleachers at Perryman Park to view the show. We encourage attendees to view from within their vehicles.

This year's Parade of Lights was held on Saturday, Dec. 5, at Stewart Creek Park (3700 Sparks Road). It was a "reverse parade," where entries are stationary along the road and the attendees drive through looking at the floats, marching groups, etc.
