On Tuesday, Jan. 26, at approximately 11:30 a.m., detectives with The Colony Police Department discovered a body in a wooded area of Lake Lewisville in the 3800 block of Overlook Court in The Colony.
The body was later positively identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office as Jonathan Houston, 19, who was reported as an endangered missing person on Sunday, Jan. 24.
Throughout the investigation, a person of interest was identified as Elijha Norman, 24. Norman met up with Houston in The Colony on Sunday, Jan. 24. During the exchange, Norman robbed and shot Houston multiple times, killing him. Norman then drove Houston to the 3800 block of Overlook Court and discarded his body in the lake. Norman was later arrested, and charged with Tampering With Evidence, Capital Murder, and he is currently in The Colony Jail.
