[ARCHIVED] Traffic: Overnight lane, ramp closures on the SRT, Jan. 31-Feb. 2

The North Texas Tollway Authority has announced a series of overnight lane and ramp closures of the Sam Rayburn Tollway (SRT), 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly, Sunday, Jan. 31, through Tuesday, Feb. 2.

For Sunday, Jan. 31, and Monday, Feb. 1, closures include:

  • All lanes of westbound SRT at the Main Street/Josey Lane Toll Gantry;
  • Westbound entrance ramp for Paige Road/Plano Parkway.

Detours: Westbound SRT, take the Main Street/Josey Lane exit and continue on SH 121 (the SRT frontage road) through the Main Street/Josey signal to re-enter westbound SRT. See map for additional information.

For Monday, Feb. 1, and Tuesday, Feb. 2, closures include:

  • All lanes of eastbound SRT at the Main Street/Josey Lane Toll Gantry;
  • Eastbound entrance ramp for Standridge Drive/Castle Hills Drive.

Detours: Eastbound SRT detour, take the Main Street/Josey Lane exit and continue east on SH 121 (the SRT frontage road) through the traffic signal to re-enter eastbound SRT. See map for additional information.

The SRT Fourth Lane Project includes adding a fourth lane in each direction of the roadway from US 75 to south of Denton Tap Road.  All closures are subject to weather conditions and will be postponed, if necessary.
