There is a steep rise in package thefts this time of year, especially in our apartment-home community.
We feel the best way to prevent package theft if ordering on Amazon is to use a Amazon Locker at the following local locations:
• Circle K 5621 South Colony - name of box is Challenge
• Circle K 6801 Main St. - name of box is Reciprocity
If you are getting packages from family or other sources, here are some tips to ensure you get it:
• Deliver package to your work
• Deliver package to a friend or neighbor who is at home
• Tell the shipping vendor to hold it for you
• Require a signature for delivery
These crimes are hard to solve due to lack of suspect information. Let's not make it easy for them. If you do see this happening, call 911 and we may have an Officer nearby that can respond in a timely matter and catch them. Feel free to add any tips we may have not mentioned in the comments.
